I would like to add an update to the review of 2/29/09...A week after this posting, the manager has changed his/her stand and everyone is happy again. Thanks to whomever got this wonderful place back on track.

A group of us have been having breakfast there every Thursday AM for over 20 years. The food and service is excellent and staff fun and friendly EXCEPT this last week we find the staff is no longer allowed to small talk with us or each other. It is to be strictly business from now on. We go there BECAUSE of the staff. Other restaurants at this time in our lives would be more convenient but Red Hot feels like home or at least it did. What gives??? I have never seen customers waiting in line because of a few friendly words or staff standing around doing nothing. Rethink this idea. Eating out is supposed to be fun and the people who serve us are part of the fun. They are still doing an excellent job but we customers feel we may cause trouble for them if we do more than order and go away.
